We will be walking for the majority of the day with breaks for morning and afternoon tea. A warming lunch will be included cooked over an open fire. This is an informal foray where the instructors are available to answer questions and give you pointers to enable to you more confidently recognise common species. We cannot guarantee to find any edible fungi as the season runs from Spring to Winter and Mother Nature does not grow to order.

The day will consist of visiting the varied habitats available in our woods, hoping to find and identify the seasonal fungus that abounds here.
