Not wishing to discriminate by only offering the traditional “Father And Son” courses, we wanted to broaden our appeal and provide an exciting learning environment where Mothers, Aunts, Foster Carers and feisty Grand Parents can also come and spend an exhilarating weekend with the young people in their family.

A & Y persons weekend

Courses are intended to facilitate a deep bonding and are therefore designed for one carer accompanied by up to two young people.

Natural Cordage

Full of action and adventure, this jolly in the woods provides an exciting time where Adults and Young people can share the traditional camping experience.

These include making your own shelter using the natural materials around you. How to make fire, using a variety of techniques, including friction. Foraging for wild food. The collection and purification of water and how to make cordage.

While our wildlife is precious to us all, your hunting skills will still be explored through tracking games in the woods, and axe throwing. Days full of fun and fresh air will be rounded off with night time expeditions and campfire games.
