Join us in the magical experience of creating fire by friction. This age old technique used by our ancestors has been lost to most of us.
Imagine yourself being able to conjure fire from the natural materials that you can find surrounding you. Using the primitive tools of bow and drill you will amaze yourself and family by becoming the 'Keeper of the Fire'.

Please wear appropriate clothes
as described in the kit list.
You will also need to bring:
• Knife, fork and spoon
• Mug, plate & bowl
• Water bottle
• Notebook and pencil
• An adventurous spirit!
In keeping with the survival camp theme we will provide a cooking fire for you to prepare hot drinks and food on. We will also be providing a delicious woodland lunch that the whole team can enjoy. If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know at time of booking.

Remember you will be working in woodland environment. It is only to be expected that you may well burn, stain or otherwise damage any equipment you bring. If you are not sure about the suitability of your kit please ask. Woodland Skills cannot accept any responsibility for your kit. We regularly consider potential risks and have an outstanding safety record.
Please be aware that the nature of this course is adventurous and you may encounter the odd bump, bruise and burn (remember you will be making fire). All our staff are fully first aid trained and more than able to deal with any accidents.
