This is a one day introductory course to learning the traditional skills of coppicing in our native woodland.

This course is designed for anyone who has an interest in traditional woodland skills from the novice to the seasoned volunteer. We invite you come and enjoy a refreshing break from your every day routine and enjoy life in a coppice camp.
Based on intensive practical experience you will learn the traditional techniques used for centauries to maintain and gain a living from Coppice woodland.

This hands on course provides you with the opportunity to learn and practice these skills in a working coppice.
In keeping with the woodland camp theme we will provide a cooking fire for you to prepare hot drinks on. We will be providing a delicious woodland Lunch for you to enjoy. If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know at time of booking.
