This workshop is suitable for beginners or individuals who have done some weaving before and would like to further their knowledge.

Two days: Saturday and Sunday 10.00am - 4.00pm

On this weekend you will have a chance to learn more of the traditional techniques that go into making a basket. You may have a small project in mind and this is welcomed. There will be time to learn in more detail and try different weaves and attach handles for example.

   

There will also be the opportunity to talk about willow husbandry, the history of basket making and the magic of weaving!

There will be regular breaks throught the day to allow us to review the information and techniques. A woodland lunch and snacks will be provided. Participants are invited to discuss dietary needs before hand.
