Join us on a three day journey of self discovery.
The Self Care Training covers basic anatomy and physiology of the abdominal and reproductive organs, addresses causes and symptoms of mal-positioned organs and demonstrates self-care techniques enabling the participant to be able to perform the Self Care massage on ones self with confidence.
The Self-Care training also addresses herbal, nutritional, spiritual and emotional support for the massage techniques to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the modality and how it contributes to wellness. Additionally, this class is a prerequisite to enrolment in the Professional Training for licensed healthcare practitioners who may wish to learn and share with their clients this amazing therapy.

The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Massage™ address the position and health of the pelvic and abdominal organs. The work is best known for the correction of the misplaced uterus which may present as fertility issues, menstrual problems and fibroids;and may or may not be of benifit for the prevention and treatment of benign prostate enlargement, frequent urination and errectile disfunction in men.This work may or may not benifit conditions of the digestive tract as acid reflux (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome and chronic constipation.

Amanda has been a practicing therapist for five years and is one of only three Self Care Teachers in the UK. She has attended training in the Arvigo Technique both in Belize and the USA under the instruction of Dr Rosita Arvigo.
