One day: Saturday
Tai Chi and Chi Kung are both branches of the same tree, though they are often treated separately; in essence they are sharing ‘energy’ at their roots and are indivisible. Each practice complements the other, leading to a better understanding of the way we move and hold ourselves.

For the last 15 years Ian Clarke has studied traditional Tai Chi forms and training methods as well as the more recent Beijing styles.
Working ‘with’ as opposed to ‘against’ nature or ‘with’ as opposed to ‘against’ each other is an underlying principle of Tai Chi. As well as learning individual ways of moving, group sharing is an important aspect of the day.
Typical day in the woods starts at 9am and concludes at approximately 5pm. Throughout the day regular breaks are structured to rest and to review the material presented. A vegetarian lunch will be provided to keep in fitting with the nature of the day, to allow our bodies to relax and re-charge.
Participants are invited to discuss dietary needs before hand.
