Toms’ supportive style and flexible nature encourages each participant to explore the available materials enabling them to gain the most effective results whilst working within the natural restrictions of the medium. Sometimes these restraints help in the design process and it is as important to learn how to use these to their greatest advantage.

The design and implimentation of creative ideas can be transferred to many different mediums and this course aims to show how much can be achieved with a little desire and some design knowhow.

Participants are invited to discuss dietary needs before hand.

Please wear appropriate clothes as rain or shine, you will be working outside.

Please note: This course takes place in a woodland setting and that this by its very nature is not completely hazard free. We ask that all participants abide by the safety instructions and information given by our instructors. All our staff are fully first aid trained and more than able to deal with any minor accidents.

Please be aware that a reasonable level of fitness is required for you to enjoy and gain the most benefit from this course.

As these is such a wide range of topics coved in this course and the flexibilty that is offered by 5 days, a schedule is not available but please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

A typical day in the woods starts at 9am and concludes at approximately 4pm. Throughout the day regular breaks are structured to rest and to review the material presented. Lunch will be provided to keep in fitting with the nature of the day and is included in the cost.
